Before we start work
If you cancel before we begin preparing your application, we refund your payment in full.
After we start work

If the IRS rejects your application
If your application is rejected because of a mistake we made, we fix it and resubmit at no extra cost.
What we can't refund
- IRS decisions and processing times, which are outside our control
- Applications where the information you gave us was incomplete or incorrect
- Services already completed
How to ask for a refund
Email us at billing@easyformx.com with your name and order details. We reply within a few business days, and approved refunds go back to your original payment method within a few business days.
Common questions about this refund policy
Does the refund policy cover state and IRS fees?
No. Government fees paid on your behalf, such as the Wyoming or Texas state filing fee, are collected by the state and are never refundable. Our refund policy applies to the EasyFormX service fee only, which is always shown separately from outside costs.
What counts as "work started"?
Work starts when we begin preparing your file: reviewing your documents, drafting Form W-7 or the formation filing, or preparing a bank application. Until then you can cancel for a full refund under this refund policy. Once a filing has been submitted to the IRS, a state or a provider, that part of the service is complete.
How long does a refund take to arrive?
Approved refunds are sent back to the card or account you paid with. Stripe usually returns the money within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. We confirm by email when the refund has been issued.
What if the bank or the IRS says no?
Approval decisions belong to the IRS, the state and the banking provider, and no outcome is guaranteed. If an application is rejected because of a mistake we made, we fix and resubmit at no cost. If it is rejected for reasons outside our control, the completed preparation work is not refundable under this refund policy, but we tell you what the options are.
Can I change my order instead of cancelling?
Yes. If you would rather switch from Priority to Standard, move from one state to another before filing, or swap a service, message us and we adjust the order and refund any difference.
Do bundles and add-ons follow the same refund policy?
Yes. A bundle is refunded service by service: anything not started is refunded in full, anything completed is kept, and outside fees already paid are never refundable. Add-ons such as courier or certified copies are refunded only if the cost has not yet been incurred.
What if I paid twice by mistake?
Duplicate payments are refunded in full as soon as we see them, usually the same working day. Send us the two receipt numbers and we take care of the rest.
